Zanu-PF says it will not entertain calls by the MDC to form a partnership to run and govern the country, stating that the revolutionary party has a clear mandate to administer the country.
Zanu-PF Secretary for Information and Publicity, Rugare Gumbo made the remarks following proclamation by the Tendai Biti-led MDC Renewal Team that it is making offers to partner the ruling Zanu-PF party in government by forming a technical select committee comprising of both Zanu-PF and MDC members to run the economy.
MDC Renewal Team spokesperson, Jacob Mafume said his party is in a process of engaging Zanu-PF to be partners in government.
Gumbo said Zanu-PF has a manifesto to fulfil and will not engage any political party as it is implementing its economic blue print, ZIimAsset.
He said the opposition party was given the opportunity to help manage the economy during the inclusive government, adding that it is time for the revolutionary party to deliver its promises to the electorate unhindered.
