Zanu-PF stalwart accused of grabbing mine

A Zanu-PF Mashonaland East member, Hebert Shumbamhini, who in 2009 made news after violently occupying Devonia Farm owned by Panner Seed company in Goromonzi has been accused of grabbing a gold mine next to the farm.

He is alleged to have taken over Lincoln Mining owned by three registered miner who have since stopped operations after being ordered to do so by the ministry of Mines until the matter was finalised.

The matter is before Murewa Magistrates' Court with judgement over the assault set for today.
