Zanu-PF MP acquitted

Gokwe-Kana legislator Owen "Mudha" Ncube, who has been facing charges of threatening to destroy Kwekwe central MP Masango Matambanadzo's shop, yesterday walked out of court a free man after the State withdrew the charges before plea.

Matambanadzo, who is facing charges of assaulting Ncube, had accused the Gokwe- Kana MP of youths where he ordered them to burn the Kwekwe Central MP's shop. .

Ncube's lawyer Valentine Mutatu said the State had conceded that it had a weak case and withdrawn the matter before plea.
