Truant Zanu-PF officials face eviction

Harare City Councils is planning to evict Zanu-PF officials who have been leasing council properties without paying rentals thereby prejudicing the city of huge sums of money in potentials revenue.

The politicians are also not paying rates and other levies and taxes.

While the HSS has always blamed the loss of revenue on defaulting ordinary ratepayers, there is now evidence to suggest that Zanu-PF politicians are also sucking away millions of dollars in potential revenue from the city's coffers.

The politicians have invaded several council properties that were established to feed revenue into depleted council coffers, giving the city fathers a colossal financial beating.
