A political row in which Zanu-PF Mashonaland West Provincial Chairman, Themba Mliswa and those behind his ousting still rages on with the two sides carrying out and coordinating party activities separately.

The Provincial Vice Chairman, Ziyambi Ziyambi, who recently announced the ousting of Mliswa, said the vote of no confidence motion still stands and is irreversible.

He said the Zanu-PF constitution does not provide room for an appeal for provincial leaders ousted through a vote of no confidence motion.

Ziyambi added that Mliswa is no longer mandated to call for executive meetings since he is unlikely to get the required number of members to constitute a quorum.

Mliswa, however convened an inter-district conference in Chinhoyi on Saturday and prior to that, Ziyambi and some provincial executive members had also convened a separate inter-district meeting.
