Zanu-PF MP accused of grabbing conservancy

Zanu-PF Kariba MP Isaac Mackenzie has been accused of grabbing a wildlife conservancy together with some white investors.

Wayne Chihota, spokesperson of Mola committee said that villagers would be adversely affected by the seizure of the Mola Conservancy.

Chihota said Mackenzie was planning to fence the conservancy and fishing pools, putting them under a private safari operator that he would be working with.

Chihota said they know that Mackenzie has taken their conservancy together with some white people.

Mackenzie denied he was taking over the conservancy but argued the decision was made by Nyami Nyami Rural District Council.
