Bhobho to replace Madzongwe

Zanu-PF wants Women's League deputy secretary for external affairs Hilda Bhobho to fill the Mashonaland West senatorial vacancy created after Edna Madzongwe was appointed Senate president.

Justice Rita Makarau Zec chairperson said the Zanu-PF chairman Simon Khaya Moyo wrote to the commission this week requesting the commission to replace Madzongwe with Bhobho.

Kindness Paradza, Zanu-PF Mashonaland West provincial secretary for administration confirmed that the province had chosen Bhobho to replace Madzongwe.
