MDC factions headed for a clash

The two MDC formations that currently sit in parliament are headed for a major showdown, with MDC-T saying it will recall from august house those who joined the MDC renewal team soon after its congress, though the latter maintains there is no legal basis for such recalling.
MDC-T spokesperson, Douglas Mwonzora yesterday said soon after their elective congress slated for next weekend his party will recall at least 12 legislators who joined MDC renewal team.
On the other hand, MDC renewal team spokesperson Jacob Mafume scoffed at Mwonzora's remarks saying if anyone was going to be recalled, it was those who followed Tsvangirai as he was suspended from the party.
The MDC renewal team led by Tendai Biti, dumped Tsvangirai early this year, accusing him of failing to lead the party to victory, among other things.
