Beleaguered war veterans leader Jabulani Sibanda says the Zanu-PF Politburo is now dominated by power hungry people and as war veterans they will not allow them to prevail.
Sibanda was addressing a gathering of freedom fighters who had converged at Herbert Mine in Mutasa where remains of 82 freedom fighters were exhumed from a disused mine shaft.
Sibanda was reacting to the postponement of the reburial of the remains of the freedom fighters by government, to a date to be announced.
On Sunday, the Minister of Home Affairs Kembo Mohadi postponed the reburial which was meant for Monday sighting inconsistencies which he said need to be resolved by his ministry before a new date is set.
Sibanda also alleged that war veterans are being blocked from meeting President Mugabe, threatening to organise a march to State House to meet their patron if this continues.
Zanu-PF provincial chairman Ambassador John Shumba Mvundura, who addressed the same gathering, said he was surprised by government's decision to postpone the reburials.
