Zanu-PF reverses suspensions

Zanu-PF National chairman Simon Khaya Moyo has announced the lifting of the suspensions of several party provincial chairpersons including Ray Kaukonde of Mashonaland East, Andrew Langa of Matebeleland South and Amos Midzi of Harare.

This comes amid escalating factional fights ahead of the party's elective congress in December.

According to information obtained late last night, the decision was arrived at based on the fact that affiliates like Zimbabwe National Liberation War Veterans Association are not part of provincial executives and therefore do not have the locus standi to dislodge a sitting executive.
