Tsvangirai showing signs of mental lapse: Zanu PF

Zanu PF has dismissed MDC-T leader Morgan Tsvangirai's planned National Economic Conference in March- April this year as a sign of mental failure on eth part of the embattled opposition leader.
"Politics can be a very cruel field indeed. Unlike certain disciplines where signs of decline can be gradual and perhaps even unhurtful- political decline is often rapid- at times almost instantaneous- causing a lot of emotional damage in the process," said Zanu PF information director Psychology Maziwisa.
"And unlike other professions where one can be down and out and still be able to remain mentally stable- political oblivion can cause all sorts of problems including, even, psychological problems. It's not uncommon to detect signs of confusion, lack of composure and mental instability in political failures.
"To his enormous credit, Morgan Tsvangirai, despite a dull political career in which he has lost every presidential election in which he has contested, managed to stay sober for quite some time. Indeed, many wondered how this was possible given his well documented political misfortunes. It is possible that this sign of mental bravery is what many have come to confuse with courage in Morgan Tsvangirai.

"Whatever the case, the plain truth is that, as should naturally happen with all serial political losers, Tsvangirai is beginning to show clear signs of mental failure. There have been many such signs in the recent past including the fact that Tsvangirai somehow genuinely believes that it is very much possible to have elections in Zimbabwe before 2018.

"But by far his greatest sign of mental lapse has to do with his blatantly insane belief that ZANU PF will have anything to do with his so-called national economic conference which he has scheduled for March-April this year. Of course that is nonsense. All right thinking people know that that is a total impossibility."
