Former Zanu-PF Secretary for Administration, Didymus Mutasa has been described as a sore loser who is failing to accept electoral defeat.
This follows Mutasa's comments that procedures were not followed at the 6th Zanu-PF National People's Congress where he was reduced to an ordinary card carrying member.
Mutasa released a statement to the private media accusing Zanu-PF of violating its constitution by holding what he called an 'illegitimate congress,' but Zanu-PF Midlands Provincial Commissar, Makhosini Hlongwane said the utterances are misplaced.
Hlongwane described Mutasa as a man failing to come to terms with the height from which he has fallen from.
The Minister of State for Mashonaland Central province, Advocate Martin Dinha, who is also a legal guru, said a man of Mutasa's political history should never stoop so low by displaying ignorance of basic party processes.
A media practitioner, Ceasar Zvayi said Mutasa's statement is littered with falsehoods.
After Mutasa lost elections into the Central Committee and failed to make it into the Politburo, he embarked on a crusade to denigrate his party in the region.
Mutasa claims to be representing many people but his media statements glaringly display some comical errors that have led many to conclude that he might be failing to cope with his heavy defeat.
