'Mutasa recall decision final'

Zanu-PF Manicaland says there is no going back on its recent resolution to expel Didymus Mutasa from the ruling party, adding that the province is now waiting for President Robert Mugabe to endorse the decision on his return from holiday.
Samuel Udenge, the provincial chairperson, said yesterday that his executive committee would not rescind its decision to have Mutasa expelled from the party, and had already written to the politburo to this effect.
Mutasa, a member of Mugabe's first cabinet in 1980, has told SADC that his removal and that of other officials from their positions in the ruling party was unconstitutional.
Mutasa, however dismissed contemptuously the recommendation of his home province to expel him, saying the only Zanu-PF he knew and recognised was the one that existed before the "criminal congress" held in Harare last month.
