MHONDORO-NGEZI legislator Mike Gava and wife Tendai Wenyika seem to have buried their differences and are now back together.

Barely a fortnight ago, MP Gava was dragged before the civil court by Tendai who claimed close to US$1 ooo upkeep for herself and their minor child Mike.

On Friday, the two made a public appearance together with MP Gava describing Tendai as the most well looked after woman.

"NdimaSibanda uyu ndakamutora kwaGutu ndofunga mazviona kuti MP venyu vane choice uye vanochengeta," he said.

Honourable Gava, who had been asked to give a welcome address at a function in Mhondoro-Ngezi, passed the onus to his wife whom he said was well suited for the job.

"I will allow my beautiful wife to welcome our guests. As you can see she is well taken care of and I'm grateful to have her as my wife."

Welcoming the guests, Tendai also seemingly conceded that she was indeed being taken care of: "Haa isu tigere kuno ku Mhondoro-Ngezi kana nyaya dzedomestic violence ishoma chose."

Their marriage has been marred by hiccups with MP Gava being accused of infidelity which saw him being incarcerated at one time in Kadoma after firing live bullets at Kadoma Hotel and Conference Centre in a row with a woman.

He also stood accused of kidnapping.

And last year, Tendai assaulted one Belinda Cele, who she suspected to be in an adulterous affair with her husband. Tendai had allegedly noticed Belinda wearing her watch.

Belinda later took the assault case to court where she applied for a peace order against Wenyika.
