Wife locked up over sex

A MARRIED man has found himself on the wrong side of the law after locking his wife in the house for denying him sex.
According to H-Metro, Albert Mhondiwa had initially received a call from another woman in the presence of the wife Stembeni Dumbura before he demanded sex from her.
The wife refused and he forced her out of the house but she resisted. He then locked her up and disappeared.
Mhondiwa appeared before Chitungwiza magistrate Lazarus Murendo answering to allegations of physical abuse.
He came clean and admitted to the allegations.
He was sternly warned and cautioned by the court before he was discharged.
It is said on February 8 around 10am, Mhondiwa received a phone call in the presence of his wife.
He then grabbed her by the neck demanding sex. She refused the demand and he got angry and ordered her to leave his house. The woman also refused to leave and he then locked the door and left her inside.
The woman managed to unlock the door and went to the police where she filed a police report leading to the arrest of Mhondiwa. Prosecutor Norman Koropi appeared for the State.
