Zanu-PF Politburo meeting underway

The Zanu-PF 284th ordinary session of the Politburo is underway at he party's headquarters in Harare.
The meeting is expected to discuss preparations for the 21st February Movement celebrations to be held in Victoria Falls at the end of the month.
The meeting will also discuss the economic development plan ZIM ASSET which is aimed at improving Zimbabwe's infrastructure in different areas, including roads, energy, water, rail and air links.
The meeting takes off when Mutasa's future in the party hangs in the balance after a 7-member disciplinary committee was set up to deal with the issue, where he is facing a number of allegations related to indiscipline in the party.
Mutasa wrote to the African Union alleging the December congress was unconstitutional and that the resolutions it adopted should be declared null and void among other allegations.
