President Robert Mugabe has appointed Shuvai Mahofa as the Minister of State for Masvingo Provincial Affairs, replacing Kudakwashe Bhasikiti.
Bhasikiti was fired from government last week for behaviour not consistent with the expectations from him.
In a statement, the Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet, Dr Misheck Sibanda said Mahofa's appointment is with immediate effect.
