Zanu-PF chair up for maintenance

ZANU-PF Midlands acting provincial chairman and Chiwundura House of Assembly representative Kizito Chivamba, has appeared in court for allegedly abandoning and neglecting his eight-year-old daughter.

Alice Magodhi of 5 Brigade in Kwekwe is demanding $878 per month as maintenance for the upkeep of their daughter and $7 000 in damages.

Through her lawyers Mutatu and Partners Legal Practitioners, Magodhi alleged that Chivamba neglected the child since birth.

Magodhi claimed that she had suffered a stroke and was no longer able to fend for the child alone therefore Cde Chivamba should also provide for the child.
