Zanu-PF youths in door-to-door campaign

Zanu-PF has roped in youths to shore up its dwindling support base in urban areas by conducting door-to-door campaigns which have left most residents terrified.

The youths were this week spotted in Harare's Southerton suburb where they were demanding to see national identity cards ostensibly to verify if people will be eligible to vote.

This has brought tension in the suburb where most residents are reluctant to volunteer their particulars for fear of either victimisation or abuse.
