Parliament wont probe smuggled MDC letters

Parliament will not investigate how letters sent by MDC-T to recall 21 legislators that are part of the splinter MDC Renewal Team were "smuggled" into Parliament, saying it was an internal party matter.
Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Mabel Chinomona, yesterday made the ruling after Kambuzuma representative Willas Madzimure who is part of the Renewal Team, raised a point of order saying the letters were delivered unprocedurally.
After consulting Parliament's administration Chinomona ruled that they would not be involved in the matter. MDC-T wrote letters to the 21 notifying them of the party's decision to recall them from Parliament.
The letters were "smuggled" into Parliament and deposited in the concerned MPs' pigeon holes.
MDC-T secretary general, Douglas Mwonzora, wrote to all 21 MPs letters dated March 4, 2015 informing them of their expulsion from the party and recall from Parliament.
