Tongaat Hulett surrenders 4000ha to Zanu-PF

Tongaat Hulett has surrendered 4000ha of land to Masvingo Provincial Affairs Minister Shuvai Mahofa following threats by Zanu-PF.

This came after Mahofa was challenged to produce results of her ministerial appointment by cross-border traders who were demanding land to build houses.

Speaking at a party organized for her by the cross border traders association, Mahofa said she was in good books with the South African firm. She said the company had also promised to surrender more land.

This comes after she had a meeting with executives from the firm whom she claimed had given her 4000ha of land.

Mahofa also claimed she was in discussion with company regarding employee relations.
