Ex-minister's son up for misconduct

A 37-YEAR-OLD man landed himself in the dock facing disorderly conduct after he caused a stir at former minister Chen Chimutengwende's place of residence in Glen Forest.
Samson Chimutengwende, who resides in Chiweshe, was taken to Harare magistrates' court charged with disorderly conduct.
Chimutengwende denied the charges when he appeared before magistrate Batanai Madzingira.
He told the court that he visited the place with intention to see his father and that he never caused any commotion whilst at the place.
The villager also told the court that his intention was to solve family issues with his father.
The State led by Tatenda Murindagomo had it that on March 13 at around 11 am Samson Chimutengwende proceeded to the former minister's place of residence.
It is said upon arrival at the place he found a police officer, Tinashe John Masango, manning the premises.
The court heard that Masango denied Samson entrance into the premises.
At around 1730pm, the 37-year-old is said to have returned to the same place while following behind the former legislator Chimutengwende's car.
He was also denied entrance into the premises and ended up being violent.
Samson was arrested and later taken to court.
