Former Prime Minister in the inclusive government Mr Morgan Tsvangirai's continued stay in the house allocated to him while he was in government has been questioned by parliamentarians.
The matter was raised during this week's question and answer session.
Legislators have triggered the debate whether MDC-T leader Mr Morgan Tsvangirai should continue staying in the house allocated to while he was prime minister.
Mr Tsvangirai still stays in the house in Kew Drive, Highlands.
Makonde legislator Kindness Paradza queried why Mr Tsvangirai is still occupying a state house when government is yet to provide accommodation to Vice President Phelekezela Mphoko.
In response Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa, who is also the leader of government business in the house, said government is still working on the vice president's accommodation which is almost complete.
The point after all though according to Mnangawgwa is that the vice president cannot be downgraded to prime minister status by being allocated the house Morgan Tsvangirai resides in.
Mr Tsvangirai ceased being a government official after the July 31, 2013 elections which were won by Zanu-PF.
20 months later, he is still occupying the house.
On the other hand, Vice President Mphoko is yet to move into official state residence since being appointed vice president.
He is currently staying at a hotel.
