Zanu-PF has gone on the offensive in Harare with the party vowing to recapture all seats that are up for grabs in the coming by-elections.
With several Zanu-PF members expressing interest in participating in the June 10 by-elections in constituencies left vacant by 14 of the 21 recalled MDC-T legislators, the party's Highfield constituency meeting has called for robust mobilisation.
One of the aspiring candidates for the Highfield West Constituency, Nobert Chigumbo said the poor track record of service delivery left by the MDC-T legislators has eroded all confidence which the electorate once placed in the Morgan Tsvangirai led formation.
Meanwhile, analysts have castigated the MDC-T for its failure to give directional leadership as it dithers on whether to contest in the by-elections or not.
Highfield West is one of the six constituencies which will be contested for in Harare.
14 by-elections will be held across the country.
