Residents of Harare South have approached the civil courts seeking a peace order against their MP Shadreck Mashayamombe whom they accused of terrorising members of Tirivepano Housing Co-operative at Order Farm by demanding huge sums of money from prospective homeseeking through his team.

The co-operatives executive members filed for a peace order at the Harare Civil Courts against Mashayamombe and nine other respondents under case number B187/15.

Through their lawyer Emmanuel Nyambuya, the residents claimed that the respondents had continued illegally selling the co-operative's residential stands despite the existence of an interdict barring them from doing so.
