David Butau faces Zanu-PF expulsion

The Zanu-PF Mashonaland Central provincial coordinating committee has recommended the expulsion of legislator for Guruve North, David Butau.

Addressing a coordinating committee meeting in Bindura, the party's provincial chairman Dickson Mafios said Butau has been dining with the enemy which is against party statutes.

Other allegations levelled against Butau include buying vehicles for expelled former war veterans' leader, Jabulani Sibanda and distributing motor-bikes in Mbire to mobilise support for opposition political parties.

The decision was unanimously endorsed by the committee which felt it was long over due.
