UNKNOWN assailants early this morning pounced on Mutare Central Senator and Zanu-PF Central Committee member Judith Mawire's home and damaged some windows at her house in Chikanga.
Sen Mawire who resides at House number 2369 Chikanga Phase Two said the assailants started throwing stones on the roof as well as her garage screen breaking some front windows.
She said she reported the matter to Mutare Central Police who are now handling the matter.

"It was around 5 am when the incident happened. We were afraid to go out. I strongly believe some political enemies wanted to damage my car. They failed because it was safely parked in the locked garage and it was protected by a screen. They want to silence me. This has never happened before and I hope police will do the job and apprehend the perpetrators," she said.
