South Africa risk isolation over xenophobia

Zanu PF youth member and empowerment activists Fidelis Fengu has said South Africa risks being isolated from within Africa and internationally due to the current attacks perpetrated by its citizens on foreigners if its government does not act seriously to stop the violence and apprehend the criminals.
Fengu's remarks come in the wake of escalating violence against foreigners by the SA citizens who are accusing them of taking their jobs and committing numerous crimes.
"South Africa risks isolation and descending into paralysis," said Fengu.
"China, and Nigeria, two of South Africa's biggest trade partners have instructed South African government to stop these attacks now or risk huge consequence.Mozambique has closed its border for South Africans, and South African companies like SASOL are battling to avoid being shut down as workers have boycotted work, while government is considering shutting them down."
He said Malawi has instructed all South Africans to leave, expelled the High Commissioner and closed its border for South African citizens.
"The UK has already started boycotting purchase of South African manufactured products and cancelled all shows and performances of South African artists," said Fengu.
"Congo, and Angola have threatened to stop supply of Electricity to SA, while Mozambique will suspend Gas exports. South African multinational companies that operate in Africa and contribute to SA economy are in a serious predicament and their operations face a serious threat with locals boycotting work and governments threatening closure. The International Relations Minister tried desperately this morning to apologise to the International Community, but with little success."
Fengu said in a display of just how messed up relations, Zimbabwe pressured SA into sending its own police to protect Zimbabweans because SA is failing. By diplomatic precedence, this is strange and indicative of how bad the crisis is.
"A lot more is happening, and SA is spiralling into a crisis and recession too: The Zambian President gave the most scathing remarks of all of them," he said.
"He says Zambia looked after south africans for over 40 years. Gave them food , shelter and security and if any Zambian is injured or killed they are holding Zuma personally responsible."
Marco Rufino Raia said people of Zimbabwe should block all borders to South Africa so that no trucks or vehicles should go there .
Rameck Thumba said the violent attackers don't need the police they require the army because a bullet in the head is the only solution.
"Don't waste time arresting them, they must cease to exist because they are nothing short of human animals," he said.
"I also want to denounce fellow citizens who are in support of what is happening down SA,because the return of these people home will help dismantle the Zanu PF government. The sentiments being echoed by the opposition that it is because of the Mugabe regime's failure on the economy that this is happening to me seems to suggest that they are the ones sponsoring these barbaric acts for them to achieve their regime change agenda."
He said because they failed to lure Zimbabweans to protest against the government they are so pathetic and debased to the extent of financing those dissidents for them to achieve their goal.
"And if they ever come into power I foresee them unleashing a similar menace to foreign nationals here in Zimbabwe," he said.
