Zanu PF sympathizers have called for the intensification of the purge of the members perceived to be aligned the the gamatox group aligned to former vice president Joice Mujuru in the view that only those that are aligned to vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa should remain in the party.

Alex Ngwena said in these Perilous times, he hope and pray that President, Robert Mugabe would strengthen the Political hand of his 1st Deputy Mnangagwa.

"Since he has two other Extra Issues to deal with, SADC and AU," said Ngwena. "This is the time to Rearrange the Internal Political Dynamics for Ever. The Zimbabwean Political trajectory must for ever be determined now. We have this Window of Opportunity to do this."

He said he is not Saying President Ceases to be President.

"I am not saying at all President can't handle his duties," he said.

"We all have seen is that President still has the Stamina to go and fight to the Finish. That's neither here nor there. All I am suggesting is, President Mugabe needs extra special set of hands to help him steady the ship. Those hands belong to Mnangagwa, who has been a loyal Cadre for as long as I can remember.'

He said that means giving Authority to Mnangagwa to deal and Weed out any Gamatoxies in the Security Sector.

"The Party Must be purely ZANU PF not Fence Sitters," said Ngwena.

"This will ensure the Security and Continuity of ZANU PF."

Sean Benjamin Hono said "I can see the weevils are bent on eliminating a sitting Head of State. Why am I not surprised? It's the nature of the weevil to eat away the host."

Partson Ngwenya concurred with Ngwena but said he fears that these purges might turn around too haunt Zanu PF again.

Brian Ndaveni said, "Great thinking. But Mugabe can do it, he is a political maestro."

The remarks come at a time when Zanu PF has since fired Mujuru, former secretary for administration Didymas Mutasa, former spokesperson Rugare Gumbo, Jabulani Sibanda, Kudakwashe Bhasikiti, Temba Mliswa and many others from the party for conspiracy to assassinate Mugabe. The purge is reportedly still going on.
