The MDC-T leader Morgan Tsvangirai has been accused of being a Zanu-PF commissar after his party resolved that it will not participate in any elections until electoral reforms have been made.
Ngqabutho Mabhena said the Zanu-PF political commissar who goes by the title MDC-T President has reversed the gains "we made in year 2000 of kicking Zanu-PF out of Bulawayo by bringing that oppressive party back into the City of Kings. Shame!"
Tsvangirai and his party have since been blamed that by boycotting by elections they were donating the seats which they caused to be vacant by expelling their MPs from parliament to Zanu-PF.
Zanu-PF has never won any seat in Bulawayo for more than ten years.
This year the ruling party's chances of winning some seats in Bulawayo became high after MDC-T boycotted the polls on electoral reforms grounds.
But Mthenjwa Debele Ndlovu differed with those accusing MDC-T over the boycott as he said, those saying that were short sighted and urged them to get a bigger picture.
"What is the opposition gaining by getting the useless seats whilst Zanu-PF undeservedly gets the presidency and continue destroying the economy?" he said.
"We need electoral reforms first. Lastly you are free to contest those seats because as far as I know you have a strong party and capable leaders who can challenge Zanu-PF and Win."
Five seats are up for grabs in Bulawayo.
