Zanu-PF UK ecstasy about by elections victory

Zanu-PF United Kingdom chapters has expressed its ecstasy over the party's victory in the 16 seats  by elections which the party candidates won against small political parties and independent candidates on June 10 but warned that the party faces serious challenges of delivering during the period before 2018 elections.

Through its Facebook page Zanu-PF UK said winning the By-elections was great. "Let's feel the exhilaration of triumph. But if we don't deliver positive outcomes such as jobs, food on the table, Security for the person, affordable health for our people and a general feel good factor for the populace, that victory, that hormonal rush of triumphalism is checkered by failure," said the Chapter. "That victory feels good to us as a party but hollow for the rest of our people."

Zanu-PF won all the 16 seats amid apathy during the elections as the electorate seem to have heeded the MDC-T boycott calls.
