Zanu-PF National Chairman, Ambassador Simon Khaya Moyo says funders of the constitution making process should avail the financial resources for the exercise to be completed and pave way for the referendum then elections.
Applauding the work done by USAID Zimbabwe in capacity building programmes, the Zanu-PF National Chairman said it is of paramount importance to complete the constitution making exercise so that the country can go for a referendum and elections as the inclusive government created by the Global Political Agreement (GPA) has outlived its legal tenure.
The new USAID mission director, Mellissa Williams expressed satisfaction after calling on Ambassador Moyo who enlightened her about the situation in Zimbabwe.
Zanu-PF has consistently bemoaned the deliberate delaying tactics employed by other political parties in the inclusive government with analysts pointing out that the two MDC's have developed cold feet on elections as they have been tipped to suffer heavy losses if the country goes for the polls.
