CIO protected witness from Zanu-PF youths

Theresa Ndambakuwa, a witness in the trial of two Zanu-PF Harare provincial youth leaders accused of obstructing the course of justice, yesterday claimed that members of the CIO rescued her after Zanu-PF youths threatened to harm her to reporting an alleged rape case to the police.

The two Zanu-PF youths are facing charges of obstructing the course of justice.

The trial continues on Friday.
