Tawengwa appointed Zanu-PF acting provincial chair

The Zanu-PF politburo meeting yesterday skirted debate on the vendors' issue during its 289 ordinary session where Charles Tawengwa was appointed acting provincial chairperson of Harare.
The position fell vacant following the removal of the late Amos Midzi and Christopher Chigumba.
Ignatius Chombo acting party spokesperson said President Mugabe is urging party members to remain committed to establishing and clean environment in cities and deliver houses and jobs in line with the party's Zim Asset policy document.
