10 Zanu-PF aligned members arrested

Ten members of a Zanu-PF-aligned vendors' association, Queen of Grace ZimAsset Trust, were arrested in Harare yesterday arrested for allegedly disrupting allocation of vending stalls and demanding payments from desperate vendors at the Seke Road and Cripps Road site in Graniteside, Harare.

Queen of Grace ZimAsset Trust claims to have close links with the First Lady Grace Mugabe.

Although police could not immediately confirm the arrests, council spokesperson Michael Chideme said that the suspects were arrested in the afternoon and were still in police custody at the time of going to print.
