MDC Renewal Team in constitutional fix

The MDC Renewal Team yesterday found itself in a constitutional pickle after it emerged that its South African branch could not appoint a representative to sit in the party's national advisory committee as all its members were below the stipulated age of 60 years.

According to party's constitution, the national advisory committee is made up of people who are 60 years and over.

A delegation led by acting party leader Samuel Sipepa Nkomo is currently in South Africa setting up provincial and district structures.
