Zanu-PF burns in Manicaland

Zanu-PF political commissar Saviour Kasukuwere says he will dispatch a team to Mutare this week to restructure Manicaland structures as infighting in the province reaches boiling point.

Kasukuwere said the team would be headed by secretary for war veterans in the politburo Sydney Sekeramayi.

Sekeramayi's visit to the province comes at a time factions reportedly headed by the party's secretary for transport in the politburo, Oppah Muchinguri and central committee member Mandi Chimene were involved in a power struggle.

The Mutare offices have been shut down in fear of violence from the rival camps.
