Zanu-PF leaders can't hand over power, says Minister

Youth, Indigenization and Economic Empowerment minister Christopher Mushohwe yesterday said Zanu-PF leaders were hesitant to hand over political power to party youths because they have failed to prove their leadership skills and business acumen.

Mushohwe made the remarks during the official launch of the Zimbabwe Youth Development Report (ZYDR) which chronicles the achievements as well as setbacks affecting local youths.

The report, the first of its kind in Zimbabwe, highlights issues such as youth empowerment and participation, youth employment and sustainable livelihoods, youth education and skills development, health and gender equality as well as youths and sport, arts, culture and recreation.
