Married man caught being intimate with lover at funeral

A 3-year-old sustained serious burns after the parents fought as his father was allegedly caught being intimate with his lover during a funeral wake in Zengeza.

Givemore Chinembiri aged 34 was nabbed by his wife Abigal Nyamande aged 24 at it with his lover.

Abigal armed herself with boiling cooking oil and attacked her bubby but the child was caught up in the crossfire.

His right leg was burnt as parents fought.

"It was around midday when I went to check if my husband was still at the funeral and one of the mourners tipped me that he was drinking beer with a woman and they left for a place where I caught them pants down," said Abigal.

"Upon confronting them over that immoral act, he attacked me instead of apologising and we went home where he went on to assault me more.

"My child was strapped on my back when he attacked me and that child was burnt by the boiling cooking oil I wanted to use in my backing" she added.

Givemore said "I am not the one who burnt the child but she is the one who started it after she wanted to scald me with oil and the child was on the receiving end.

"It is true that I was in the company of a woman and we were only drinking beer not having sex".
