The Zanu-PF National Disciplinary Committee is working to clear six pending disciplinary cases involving some senior party officials implicated in a nefarious plot to unconstitutionally depose President Mugabe.

Chaired by Vice President Phelekezela Mphoko, other members of the committee include Amai Grace Mugabe (Secretary for Women Affairs), Pupurai Togarepi (Secretary Youth Affairs) and Saviour Kasukuwere (Secretary for the Commissariat). Kasukuwere and Zanu-PF national spokesperson Simon Khaya Moyo confirmed the development, but refused to divulge the names of those under investigation.

Sources said some of the officials who are going to appear before the NDC include Central Committee member Lazarus Dokora, who is also the Primary and Secondary Education Minister.
