Zanu PF youth members under attack on social media

Zanu PF youth member Fidelis Fengu has been attacked by social media users after he said democracy is un Godly claiming there is no where in the bible where people voted.

"I am patriot , I love Zimbabwe and Zanu PF but that does not mean I agree with everything that Zanu PF does , or agree with every statement that politicians or politburo members say," Fengu said. "I have an opinion of my own at times on some issues but chine basa and what guides me is the constitution of the Republic and that of ZANU PF as well as what the majority says. I think Democracy is ungodly..... God never meant for us to have elections or for us to do as we please ..... that is my personal opinion."

In reaction to his facebook post Harold Maphazima Mthunzi Nkiwane said, "So if democracy is ungodly then dictatorship is godly,yes good leader comes from God but the best are those who fear him at the same time respecting the will of the people."

Tawanda Mhere agreed with Fengu. "Yes democracy destroys development,democracy brings rights ,rights tailor made to hinder progress and development to the country,look at the most developed countries and check their democracy model and when they employed it," he said.

Also Tawanda Mhere said Africa is better off with one party democracy. Thami Ka Gockie said people like Fengu are most selfish who don't see President has had his share.

"Me personally if he was my father he would be resting enjoying his fruit of his toil somewhere in paradise," she said.

"Fairly speaking the man has taught Zimbabweans alot of things ....by now let him rest and enjoy his family......that's what a loving person and caring person could be telling the President."

Hunde Mhofu Munyaradzi said democracy has its own flaws especially in the case when majority is wrong like what Plato said.

"A good example is Nazi Germany,where majority voted for Hitler,thats a classic case of when democracy is horribly wrong,but all the same there isnt any better alternative yet therefore democracy(rule by the people) is still the best form of governance," he said.

"Elections where never mentioned in the Bible, but i dont think kuti that makes them ungodly. Jesus said a pregnant statement yekuti you will do greater and bigger things, ideas like those of elections, cellphones, cars etc can fall under that broad statement."

Naison Snr Chiriseri said Zanu PF will never win a free and fair election that is why people like Fengu are there to make sure it wins.

But Simba Mudzamba was on the MDC-T which he said lost the election because they were chasing skirts while Zanu PF was campaigning.

" Even now in my constituency zanu has been on the ground since last yr...meeting villagers every week and mdc are not on the ground. They want to come a week before elections and make sweeping promises...and then start complaining that zanu pf cheated," he said.
