PDP raps Zanu-PF for acting contrary to its ZimAsset promises

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) Youth assembly official Tatenda Chigwada has blasted the ruling Zanu-PF for acting contrary to its 2013 election promises where it said it would create 2,2 million jobs.
PDP is the former MDC Renewal Team which will hold its first inaugural congress this week end as from August 21.
His remarks come in the wake of the spate of workers dismissals, vendors raids, demolition of people's houses deemed to be illegal structures and serious economic challenges faced by Zimbabwe.
"The economical miserable Zimbabweans have no other medicine but H.O.P.E (Holistic Program for Economic Transformation )," he said.
"The Zanu-PF led exploitative government is sabotaging the youths' livelihoods and the state media is telling us they are creating solutions whilst we all are witness to the devastative impacts of their so called 'solutions."
Chigwada said the ZimAsset, vendor evictions, houses demolitions, Supreme Court labour rulings and recently the labour bill which has been passed by parliament is further proof of the socio-economic genocide by the Zimbabwean government against all citizens.
"This just but reflects the continual of colonial tendencies by our black Zimbabwean government," said Chigwada.
"Millions of youths are direct victims as they can no longer enjoy their basic rights enshrined both in the Zimbabwean constitution, regional and international socio-economic treaties that Zimbabwe is signatory to. These treaties include the African youth Charter and the United Nations socio-economic rights charter."
He said the Zimbabwean government is all but paying a blind eye to all these sufferings the youths are facing whilst upholding corruption, depriving the citizens of basic life opportunities, formation of extractive institutions and practicing patronage politics instead of upholding the rule of law.
"As the Peoples Democratic Party youth assembly we feel this is a clear case of economic genocide by president Robert Gabriel Mugabe," he said.
"His application of colonial practices after more than 35 years of independence further justifies our calls that he and all his Zanu-PF government leaders should be changed as their practices' menace are now more stinky than ‘overused diapers,"
Chigwada said the PDP is unrolling a national medicine, HOPE, to this cancerous economic virus ZimAsset and the whole clueless Zanu-PF failed cabal. As the PDP youth assembly we pledge to put an end to the terminal failure Zanu-PF and rid of its senile ZimAsset through the Agenda for National Resistance.
"After this, we will then offer the H.O.P.E that will provide lasting socio-economic revival and development to the millions of Zimbabwean youths and the rest of the Zimbabwean government," he said.
"H.O.P.E is a socio-economic revival tool that will ensure the pursuit of economic equity and social justice. Through H.O.P.E, the satisfaction of basic socio-economic needs like education, healthcare, employment creation, housing, industry revival, effective agriculture, environmental awareness and integrity, the appreciation of political and socio-economic inter-linkages across generations and the recognition of social and ethnic self determination and human rights will be achieved."
Chigwada said this all will be achieved through a total political and socio-economic transformation that will renew all our rotten systems and institutions for the revival of Zimbabwe to its real status of the jewel of Africa and the breadbasket of southern Africa.
"Come the 21st of August, all youths are welcome to witness and celebrate the unveiling of a new political party with the courage to act differently," he said. "The HOPE, an economic revival tool, ARREST (Agenda for Restoration and Rehabilitation of Elections Sustainability in Zimbabwe), an electoral fraud antidote will be launched as part of the wider Agenda for National resistance campaign. Visionary Zimbabwe's political leadership ready to decimate Robert Mugabe's legacy of failure will also be unveiled."
