Man assaults wife for denying him sex

A man from Marlbough in Harare has been dragged to the court after he assaulted his wife for denying him sex.
David Gunde (32) was fined $50 for the assault before getting warning never to lay a hand on his wife.
He was also told that if he failed to pay the fine he would go to jail for one month.
Prosecutor Benjamin Chikerema told the court that on August 23 at 4pm Primrose Nemunyadzo who is Gunde's wife asked her husband to have sex with her but he refused.
At around 7:30pm Gunde wanted to have sex but his wife told him that she was no longer interested prompting him to punch her several times at the same time telling her that he was the head of the house.
The wife reported to the police leading to Gunde's arrest.
