MDC ushers back rebels

The MDC national youth assembly is on the brink of readmitting rebels expelled from the opposition party after the party split in 2014 in a gesture of reconciliation that has been welcomed in opposition circles.

Suspended Chitungwiza provincial and district leaders are being welcomed back, with the move marking the final step in months long effort by the opposition leaders to forge a united front.
