Zanu-PF burning

Zanu-PF has failed to return to stability ever since a protracted tussle for power boiled over in December last year, leading to the ouster of Joice Mujuru and her allies.

Indications are that more heads are likely to roll especially at provincial level in the same way Mujuru and her allies were stampeded out of the party, unless President Robert Mugabe himself intervenes to stop the purge.

There is a strong feeling among those who claim to be Mugabe's loyalists that one of the two VPs, wants to stage a palace coup on the Zanu-PF leader.

The latest purge in Mashonaland Central has sparked fears of a fresh wave of purges countrywide.

The purges in Mashonaland Central came after three party leaders were accused of inviting VP Emmerson Mnangagwa to a function organized by an apostolic sect in Madziwa on October 4 without Kasukuwere's knowledge.
