Zanu-PF conference dates set

The Zanu-PF Politburo meeting has just-ended with various issues being discussed.
The Politburo resolved that the Zanu-PF National People's Conference be held from the 7th to the 13th of December.
With less than two months to the holding of the conference, fundraising is going ahead.
Political Commissar, Saviour Kasukuwere reported on the political progress following wins by the party in all by-elections held so far.
He said the party's re-organisation is on course.
The party's disciplinary committee which was looking at the violation of the party's code of conduct will report back to the next Politburo meeting.
Finance Minister, Patrick Chinamasa spoke on the economic blueprint, ZIMASSET and what they have been doing to re-assert the economic progress by looking at all economic clusters including the reengagement with the World Bank and the IMF.
The Politburo was impressed with Chinamasa and his team's recent visit to Lima, Peru, where Zimbabwe's debt repayment plan was approved by the Bretton Woods institutions.
The Politburo also heard from Foreign Affairs Minister, Simbarashe Mumbengegwi on President Robert Mugabe's recent visit to the United Nations General Assembly in New York, USA.
The Politburo finally thanked the First Lady, Dr Grace Mugabe's countrywide tours.
