A Zanu-PF provincial youth member Kudzai Mudhara has filed assault charges against Agriculture minister Joseph Made's security aide David Sanganza for allegedly manhandling him during a stormy provincial co-coordinating committee meeting in Mutare at the weekend as factional fighting reaches a new high.

Mudhara filed his assault charge at Mutare Central Police Station under RRB ref 2591877.

Meanwhile, MDC-T has said the resurfacing of politically motivated violence is a sign Zanu-PF is in serious panic mode in fear of an Arab Spring type uprising over its failure to handle the economy.

In response to a series of violent clashes pitting Zanu-PF against MDC-T supporters over the past two weekends at Hopley, the main opposition party said this showed that the ruling party was getting worried and paranoid with each passing day over its misrule and fears the situation might trigger uprisings.
