Social welfare employee verbally assaulted for being aligned to MDC-T

An employee with the Social welfare government department has been verbally attacked by Zanu PF district officials who accused him of being linked to the opposition MDC-T.
Zimbabwe Peace Project reported in its November Monthly report that on 4 November 2015, Philip Nyoni, a member of the Social Welfare Department team distributing food at Madimoni Centre in Lusulu was accused of being an MDC-T member and had his phone taken from him for several hours by Zanu-PF district chairperson for Sinamagonde District, Allan Tshuma.
"He was also verbally insulted," said ZPP.
