Zanu-PF to take over Harare

Zanu-PF Harare political commissar Shadreck Mashayamombe says the year 2016 will see the ruling party extend its tentacles in the capital, that has been dominated by the MDC.

Mashayamombe also said that the ruling party has the structures in place to ensure that Harare becomes Zanu-PF's stronghold again.

However, MDC spokesperson Obert Gutu disputes this saying that the people of Harare know what is good for them and that come 2018, they would vote for the opposition party, provided the elections are free and fair.
