Zanu-PF is reportedly close to purging all MPs aligned to former Vice President Joice Mujuru.
Sources say the move is an attempt to reign in the party's factional wars, and derail the establishment of the People First party.
The concerned MPs have been reportedly given the opportunity to toe the Zanu-PF party line, but they have indicated their willingness to jump ship en masse.
In Mashonalalnd Central, Guruve South MP, Chriswell Mutemasaka was recalled from Parliament on allegations that he has been flirting with the Mujuru political outfit.
As a result, Mutemasaka announced that he will be joining People First after being forced out of Zanu-PF. The sources allege that Zanu-PF insiders want to purge all the Mujuru linked MPs, rather than wait for them to resign.
